Distinguished Members of the Environmental Design and Management Students Association,

It is an honour to address you as the 6th President of this prestigious association, I am immensely proud to be part of an association which comprises talented and dedicated community of professionals (in the making) who shape the world we live in.

It is pertinent to note that the built environment profession holds a pivotal role in shaping our cities, towns, and communities. From Architects, Builders and Urban Planners to Surveyors and Geoinformaticians, Estate Surveyors & Valuers, Quantity Surveyors as well as Fine Artists, each one of us plays a crucial role in creating sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that enrich the lives of people.

Our work extends far beyond the mere construction of buildings; it encompasses the very essence of human progress and quality of life.

It brings great pleasure that we all have found a way to unite and cooperate with one another through our esteemed faculty association, EDEMSA.

Hence, the reason Team Sagacity (comprising very assiduous and astute executives ) ensured the association is taken to an unprecedented height

As a team saddled with the responsibilities of piloting the affairs of the association, we ensured we prioritized good academic performance as well as capacity building without neglecting the necessity for social and sports upliftment.

In the area of welfare, my executives and I made certain EDEMSA was not lagging behind.

As we are nearing the completion of this administration, it is highly pertinent I acknowledge the unflinching support and efforts of our highly esteemed Dean of the Faculty, Prof Olusegun A Ogunba, our efficacious staff advisers: Dr. O.P Daramola and Dr. B.G Ekemode.

In addition to this, I am equally appreciative of every member of Team Sagacity. It is actually an honour serving EDEMSA with you.

This address would be incomplete without also appreciating the unflinching supports of the Presidents as well as EXCOs of the SEVEN prestigious departments in the faculty and all EDEMSAITES.
